I’ve always been fascinated by all species of owls along with their overall mystique. As an artist, they are my perfect muse and I revere them for their intelligence, grace, power and otherworldly characteristics. “Branching Out,” a Northern Saw-whet owl on 1,500 year old bristlecone pine is nothing short of wicked cute. This sculpture signifies the importance to honor all living beings in our world, both seen and the unseen.
