Bronze chickadee and lady bugs on ancient bristlecone pine mounted on a black granite base. When bird watching, I delight in viewing birds flitting up and down and all around the tree’s trunk as they search for food. The lady bugs are the lucky ones in this encounter as chickadees don’t like to eat them. So, maybe it’s the start of a beautiful friendship?
