Stone and Bronze Collaborations for Residential and Commercial

View this exciting and contemporary work by Victoria and Vanessa Clarke; “a fine art sculpture within a fine art sculpture.” The collaborative union of these two fine artists join to highlight some of Victoria’s favorite bronze sculptures while featuring Vanessa’s award winning talents in stone. Vanessa moves directly from her thoughts and visualization to passionate finished pieces sculpted from rarely found stones such as Turkish marble, St. Anne African Vein marble or Red Persian travertine. Here you will discover Victoria’s purpose to push the limits on what can be done in any medium so as to create a different effect.

Burls

Victoria has taken prized burl woods, one of the most misunderstood and mysterious materials available to sculptors and created a body of “one of a kind” wildlife sculptures rarely found in the fine art community. Burls offer Victoria the ability to create from rough, malformed and twisted formations wildlife subjects which simply evolve from within an unpredictable source. For her, working in Carpathian elm, silver maple or rose myrtle burl wood gives her a sense of rebirth which is reflected in her unique single body creations.

Bristlecone Pine

Purchasing a “one of a kind” bristlecone pine sculpture created by Victoria puts a buyer in the unique class of selective buyers for the truly rare, fine art sculpture. Bristlecone pines are the earth’s oldest living inhabitants dating back to over 4,700 years. Many of these trees living today were seedlings when the pyramids were being constructed, mature in the time of Christ and today are considered protected ancient patriarchs. Victoria has a special appreciation for these dense, gnarled, twisted specimens and has taken her interpretive style of sculpture to a level not seen anywhere. In the rare bristlecone pine medium Victoria has merged one of our precious western resources with her artistic talents.

Commission Bowls In Rare Wood and Bronze

This is an opportunity for Victoria’s collectors and clients to work collaboratively with her to create beautiful, one of a kind commission bowls in burls, wood and bronze. These unique creations incorporate rare woods and burls from rose myrtle, natural red streaked cottonwood, silver maple, carpathian elm and red cherry just to name a few. Bronze wildlife subjects, birds, flowers, insects and more can be selected to enhance and create your personalized one of a kind commission sculpture for your particular preferences. Bronze and Wood Fusion

Always pushing medium limits, Victoria has created another “one of a kind” body of work incorporating her signature bristlecone pine and burl woods with bronze lady bugs, dragonflies, hummingbirds and more. What a rich compliment to pair rare wood specimens with beautiful bronze patinas. The fusion of these two mediums provides without a doubt a unique and individualistic evolution in sculpture.
