Bronze and Wood Fusion

Always pushing medium limits, Victoria has created another “one of a kind” body of work incorporating her signature bristlecone pine and burl woods with bronze lady bugs, dragonflies, hummingbirds and more. What a rich compliment to pair rare wood specimens with beautiful bronze patinas. The fusion of these two mediums provides without a doubt a unique and individualistic evolution in sculpture.

Bristlecone Pine

Purchasing a “one of a kind” bristlecone pine sculpture created by Victoria puts a buyer in the unique class of selective buyers for the truly rare, fine art sculpture. Bristlecone pines are the earth’s oldest living inhabitants dating back to over 4,700 years. Many of these trees living today were seedlings when the pyramids were being constructed, mature in the time of Christ and today are considered protected ancient patriarchs. Victoria has a special appreciation for these dense, gnarled, twisted specimens and has taken her interpretive style of sculpture to a level not seen anywhere. In the rare bristlecone pine medium Victoria has merged one of our precious western resources with her artistic talents.
